Group Work Summary: Each group will translate three of the thirty sentences from "Exercise 18" by translating "the following sentences into one of the four categorical forms (universal affirmative, universal negative, particular affirmative, particular negative) [, making] sure that the descriptions of the two categories are nouns or noun phrases (rather than adjectives or verbs)."

Step 1 (ten minutes): Individually, translate your group's first sentence.  If you have time, get started on your group's second sentence.

Step 2 (ten minutes):  In groups, compare your translations of your group's first sentence.  Make sure that each of your translations of your group's first sentence have been properly translated.

Step 3 (ten minutes):  In groups, translate your group's second sentence.

Step 4 (ten minutes):  In groups, translate your group's third sentence.

Step 5 (ten minutes):  In groups, on one sheet of paper per group, write down your group members' names, today's date, and your three translations.

Step 6 (ten minutes):  Each group presents their translation of their group's most difficult sentence (using the dry-erase board as needed).
