Don't forget the library!

The Pierce College Library's Research Planner is an excellent place to start.  On pages 10 and 11 you will find a useful guide on discovering alternative search terms, and on page 15 you'll find advice on "Boolean Operators" that can save you hours of time.

The Pierce College Library's "Planning Your Research Paper" includes a section titled "Find Useful Articles" that neatly describes what a peer-reviewed article is, and how to find one.

The Pierce College Library's A-Z Databases can help you find a peer-reviewed article.  There you will find "Academic Search Complete," "Academic Onefile," and "jstor."

Sometimes you can use others' research to help you find what you are looking for.  Consider reading the bibliography of relevant articles or books–or powerpoints like the one discussed in Feloni's (2016) "Here's the presentation Google gives employees on how to spot unconscious bias at work."
